Mission
BiohackingHub provides evidence-based, safety-focused information on longevity compounds, peptides, and biohacking protocols. Our editorial mission is accuracy, transparency, and safety — in that order.
Evidence Grading
All content is graded using the Oxford Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine (CEBM) scale:
- Level 1a/1b: Systematic reviews and randomised controlled trials
- Level 2a/2b: Cohort studies and lower-quality RCTs
- Level 3: Case-control studies
- Level 4: Case series and poor-quality cohort studies
- Level 5: Expert opinion, mechanistic reasoning
Each substance receives an overall Evidence Grade (A = strong human RCT data; D = animal/anecdotal only) and Safety Tier (A = well-established safety; D = significant risk).
Review Process
All substance profiles and research articles follow a six-step process: (1) Primary research by our Research Team, (2) Oxford-scale evidence grading, (3) Specialist expert review, (4) Compliance and safety check, (5) Publication with full attribution, (6) Ongoing updates when new evidence is published.
Reviewer Independence
Expert reviewers are not compensated by supplement brands, peptide vendors, or pharmaceutical companies. Reviewers declare any potential conflicts of interest. Affiliate relationships do not influence Safety Tier ratings, Evidence Grades, or safety warnings.
Affiliate Relationships
Some substance profiles contain affiliate links. These are clearly disclosed. Affiliate fees do not influence which compounds are reviewed, their safety ratings, or the content of their profiles. A compound that generates no affiliate revenue receives the same editorial treatment as one that does.
Corrections Policy
Factual errors are corrected promptly with a note indicating what was changed and when. If you identify an inaccuracy, contact us at editorial@biohackinghub.com.
Update Policy
Substance profiles are reviewed when significant new evidence is published. The "Last reviewed" date on each profile reflects the most recent editorial review. We aim to review all profiles at minimum annually.
